1. Social Services

A brief of Social development services:

Our society is home to 12 – 15 million Children. It also has a large number of children living in vulnerable condition in Street, Slum areas, Brick Field areas, Railway platform, market and scattered colonies. Since it’s birth Athmik has been working for the deprived children and their family(mother) to give them a better tomorrow Athmik, has been providing Education, health and nutritional support to the destitute children and also conduct vocational skill building training for children and women.

2. Cultural Activities

A brief of Cultural and Awareness Generation activities :

Street Play, Stage Theatre, Choreography, Musical Collage , Talking Doll, Rana Paa, Puppet Show are the activities of the Athmik Cultural wing .Other than these said activity Athmik performed for the reputed Television Channels, BBC World Trust and also with reputed Bangla Band “Bhoomi” with different creative ideas. Athmik belief that theatre( mainly ) is not only for entertainment but a strong medium for mass awareness, therefore started to use Street Theatre. Talking Doll, Rana Paa, Puppet show Choreography, Musical Collage in awareness campaign against different social evils on behalf of different GOVT sectors, NGOs & INGOS, also by own Initiative . We are glad to inform you that we have already performed almost 18,500 Street Plays and 1,500 Talking Doll shows throughout the West Bengal and other states for different such awareness campaign against & about different burning issues.
